Applied Equine Podiatry is:
‘The essence of Applied Equine Podiatry is the conscientious study of the equine foot, always striving to expose it to proper environmental stimuli, making every effort to promote proper structure and function, as we progress in achieving high performance.’ (K.C. La Pierre, ‘The Chosen Road’)
I have been qualified with the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry since December 2006. Since then I have trimmed and managed the hoof welfare of horses in England, France and Sweden. I work predominantly in the UK Midlands, (Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, West Midlands, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, South Yorks) but can visit further afield if required. Please call or email to discuss your horse’s feet and to make an appointment.

I am qualified as a Licensed Instructor for the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry and run 3-day courses to teach the theories of Applied Equine Podiatry and how they are applied to the management of the shoeless horse.
Next course is 27th to 29th April Fenland Lodge, Broomfleet, South Yorkshire.
